Mid-South Men's Swimming Weekly Report – Jan. 20

COLUMBIA, Ky. – A quartet of Mid-South Conference men's swimming teams compete during week 14 of the season.

Cumberlands (Ky.) hosts Bethel (Tenn.) on Friday afternoon to start the action this week.

Campbellsville (Ky.) and Cumberlands cap off its regular seasons in a tri-dual at Centre (Ky.) on Saturday.

Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) is the final team in action this week as it travels to Principia (Ill.) on Saturday afternoon.

Last week, the Lynx finished second out of three teams at the Washington (Mo.) Quad Meet last Friday.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) finished its regular season slate with wins over Milligan (Tenn.), Warren Wilson (N.C.) and Transylvania (Ky.).

Cumberlands upended Asbury (Ky.), 180-91, in a top 10 dual, while Campbellsville edged out Bethel, 84-64 to finish off the slate last weekend.

In the January edition of the NAIA Top Times, Cumberlands led the Mid-South with 11 individual mentions within the top 10 times. Lindenwood-Belleville had nine times on the individual top 10 list, while Lindsey Wilson had six top 10 times.

The Patriots, Lynx and Blue Raiders were listed in the top 10 of each of the five relay events.

The latest edition of the national poll featured Cumberlands moving up one spot to fifth in the rankings, while Lindenwood-Belleville and Lindsey Wilson are tied for eighth overall.
