Mid-South Men's Swimming Weekly Report – Dec. 9

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) is the lone team in action this week as the 2016 portion of the Mid-South Conference men's swimming season comes to a close this week.

The Lynx travel to Cleveland, Mississippi for the Delta State (Miss.) Christmas Invite from Saturday through Monday.

Last week, in a pair of duals featuring four MSC teams, Cumberlands (Ky.) defeated Campbellsville (Ky.) on the road, 161-26.

Finishing off the action last week, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) took down Bethel (Tenn.) at home, 138-20.

In the latest edition of the NAIA Top Times, Lindenwood-Belleville has the most top 10 mentions in the conference with 10, followed by Lindsey Wilson with nine. Cumberlands has eight mentions in the top 10, while Loyola has a pair of top 10 times in the NAIA.

In the NAIA poll, three teams from the Mid-South Conference are ranked in the national poll. Cumberlands is the highest ranked team in the poll at No. 6, while Lindenwood-Belleville is ranked seventh overall. Lindsey Wilson is the final team from the conference mentioned in the poll as they are ranked eighth.
