COLUMBIA, Ky. – Shawnee State (Ohio) is the only team from the Mid-South Conference ranked inside the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Postseason Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Wednesday.

The Bears remained at No. 10 in the national poll for the third-straight ranking period. Shawnee State finished 10th at the NAIA National Championship last weekend with 323 points.

Southern Oregon claimed the top spot in the poll after winning the 2016 NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championship. The Raiders had 122 points at the national meet.

St. Francis (Ill.) held at No. 2 with 148 points, while British Columbia slipped two spots to third with 152 team points. Rounding out the top five in the poll is College of Idaho at No. 4 and The Master's (Calif.) in fifth with 218 and 261 points, respectively.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and the Association of Independent Institutions.
