NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Shawnee State (Ohio) is the only team from the Mid-South Conference ranked inside the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Wednesday.

Cumberlands (Ky.) is outside of the top 25, but they are mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll.

Shawnee State jumped up 14 spots in the latest national poll as they moved up to No. 10 with 383 voting points this week. The Bears gained the most spots in the national poll this week.

Cumberlands remained in the receiving votes section of the poll as they picked up eight total points. The Patriots are 10 spots outside of the top 25.

British Columbia held onto the No. 1 spot in the poll with 19 of the 20 first-place votes and 560 points. St. Francis (Ill.) held at No. 2 with 539 points and final first-place vote. The top three remained the same after Southern Oregon stayed in third with 527 points.

Marian (Ind.) climbed up one spot to No. 4 with 497 points, while Biola (Calif.) slipped one place to fifth after earning 491 points.

The national poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing either a conference or the independents.

The final regular-season poll is scheduled to be released on Sunday, Nov. 6.
