Lindsey Wilson College's David Mutuse and Campbellsville University's Miranda Meeks are the Mid-South Conference Runners of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Mutuse won the Wilmington College Fall Classic with a course record to earn Mid-South Men's Runner of the Week. The Wote-Makueni, Kenya, sophomore, ran the 8,000 meters in 24 minutes and 46 seconds to beat the 238-man field.

Mutuse -- who earns his second MSC weekly award of the season -- led the Blue Raiders to a ninth place team finish at Wilmington.

Meeks captured the Asbury College Invitational individual title to earn the MSC Women's Runner of the Week. The Princeton, Ky., senior, ran the 5,000 meters in 18:35 to win the 19-woman race.

Meeks -- who earns her second consecutive conference award -- led the Lady Tigers to the win at Asbury.
