University of the Cumberlands' Josh Laughlin and Campbellsville University's Miranda Meeks are the Mid-South Conference Runners of the Week, according to the conference.

Laughlin finished 91st out of 294 runners at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic to earn Mid-South Men's Runner of the Week. The Bellbrook, Ohio, senior, ran the 8,000 meters in 25 minutes and 35 seconds.

Laughlin led the Patriots to a 27th place finish the Gold Race of the Classic.

The weekly award is Laughlin's second of the season.

Meeks ran 18:18 over 5,000 meters to finish second in the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic to earn the MSC Women's Runner of the Week. The Princeton, Ky., senior crossed the line ahead of all but one of the 205 runners in the Blue Race.

Meeks helped the Lady Tigers to a 10th place finish

The award is the first of the season for Weeks.
