Lindsey Wilson College goalkeeper Pedro Caetano and University of the Cumberlands Igor Petsch has been named Mid-South Conference Soccer Players of the Week for the week ending Aug. 30.

Caetano, a Sao Paulo, Brazil, native, shut out No. 13-ranked Park University to earn MSC Defensive Player of the Week. The sophomore goalkeeper recorded three saves in helping the No. 6-ranked Blue Raiders to a 1-0 win. The Blue Raiders improve to 2-0-0 on the season.

Petsch, a Bogota, Colombia, native, scored a goal in Cumberlands' 3-1 win over Walsh University last week to earn MSC Offensive Player of the Week. The junior midfielder helped the Patriots to a 1-1 week.
