The Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College men's soccer team is the Mid-South Conference preseason favorite in 2008, according to the conference coaches' preseason poll.
Lindsey Wilson received 36 points, including six first place votes, while University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) is a close second with 31 points, including the final first place vote. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
West Virginia University Institute of Technology (24) is projected to finish third in the seven-team conference, while Campbellsville (Ky.) University (21) and Georgetown (Ky.) College (18) is predicted fourth and fifth respectively.
St. Catharine College (9) and Pikeville (Ky.) College (8) finish the coaches' preseason picks.
