Patriots edge out Georgetown in close race for MSC's most prestigious award.
The University of the Cumberlands has been declared the winner of the 2007-08 Mid-South Conference President's Cup. Points for the President's Cup are based on the regular season finish of each conference team in the MSC's 17 sponsored-sports.
The Patriots edged out Georgetown College in total points. The Cumberlands, who finished third in last year's standings, have won five of the last six MSC President's Cups.
The final standings for the 2007-08 President's Cup are as follows:
