Top Tennis Honors Awarded by Mid-South Conference

Academic All-Conference honors are now included.

For an unprecedented fourth year in a row, Candela Castanon has been awarded the 2008 MSC Women's Tennis Player of the Year award. On the men's side, two players tied for the top honor as Matias Carcamo (Georgetown College) and Freddy Luciano (Lindsey Wilson College) were named Player of the Year.

The women's doubles team of Castanon and Jessica Weyreuter of Lindsey Wilson took home top honors, while Luciani teamed with Eddie Khan to bring Lindsey Wilson the MSC Doubles Team of the Year honor on the men's side as well.

The Men's Coach of the Year is Kevin Calhoun of Georgetown College. Chuck Amshoff of Lindsey Wilson College took home the Women's Coach of the Year award.
