Tigers sweep weekly awards for second straight week.
For the second time in as many weeks, the Mid-South Conference Tennis Players of the Week are both from Georgetown College. Emily Kerrick and Matias Carcamo both had strong weeks for the Tigers, including wins over MSC foe the University of the Cumberlands.
Women's Tennis Player of the Week - Emily Kerrick (Georgetown)
Kerrick, a native of Lexington, Ky., went 2-1 in singles play last week, with a win over #33 ranked player in the country from Brenau University. The junior also went 2-1 in doubles play, including an 8-0 victory over the Patriots.
Men's Tennis Player of the Week - Matias Carcamo (Georgetown)
A junior from Temuco, Chile, Carcamo finished the week 1-1 in singles play. Carcamo also finished with two wins on the doubles side, including wins over the #10 and #20 doubles teams in the country.
