The Mid-South Conference has announced that Tommy Nutt of WVU Tech and Adam Blanton of the University of the Cumberlands are the Mid-South Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week for baseball.
 
Nutt, a senior from Louisville, Ky., led the Golden Bears to a 3-1 weekend. He batted .429 with one homerun and four RBI's while scoring five runs. Blanton, a sophomore from Staffordsville, Ky.,  went 2-0 on the mound for the Patriots with wins over Union College and Pikeville College. Blanton finished with a 1.00 ERA and four strikeouts in nine total innings pitched.
