The MSC Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week are Samantha Barmore of Georgetown College and Samantha Kooch of the University of the Cumberlands.

 

Barmore, a junior from Smithfield, Ky., pitched the Tigers to victories over Union College (3-1) and WVU Tech (8-0). In ten innings of work, Barmore gave up only one earned run while striking out 13. Kooch, a junior left fielder from Powell, Tenn., hit .429 (6-14) with one homerun and eight RBI's in four Patriot victories.
