Lindsey Wilson College seniors Leigh Ann Moore and Shayla Cain earned the Softball Mid-South Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week honors for their play during the week ending March 9.

Cain (Reno, Nevada) hit .400 (2 for 5) with two home runs and five RBIs, including the game-winner in the Blue Raiders 4-3 win over Midway (Ky.) College. The senior third baseman ended the week with a 1.600 slugging percentage.

Moore (Dawson Springs, Ky.) earned Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Week after hurling a no-hitter in a 5-0 win over Midway. The senior pitcher threw a complete game no-hitter, allowing only one walk while striking out 15 in her seven innings of work.
