The Mid-South Conference Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week are the University of the Cumberlands' Trevor Urbanick and Brandon Williams. This is the second straight award for Urbanick, as well as the second straight sweep for the Patriots.

 

Urbanick (Conneautville, Pa.) went a perfect 3 for 3 with two doubles in a double-header sweep of Kentucky State University last week. The senior outfielder drove in two runs and scored five, while also going 6 for 6 in stolen bases. Urbanick is now 25 for 28 in stolen bases on the season.

Williams, a pitcher from Ashland, Ky., gave up one run in five innings in the Patriots 9-1 win over Kentucky State. The sophomore struck out four and raised his season record to 2-1.
