Georgetown College takes home regular season title.
All games will be webcasted live online.
With the regular season completed, the field has been set for the 2008 Community Trust Bank Mid-South Conference Basketball Tournament, which begins next Saturday, March 8 at the Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center in Pikeville, KY.
Georgetown secured the regular season championship and number one seed after defeating Lindsey Wilson College in their regular season finale. With their win today, The Tigers capped off an undefeated season at 30-0 and 10-0 in conference play.
The University of the Cumberlands has secured the #2 seed in next weekend’s tournament. The Patriots finished the regular season 18-12 and 6-4 in league play.
After their win over WVU Tech today, the third seed is Campbellsville University. The Tigers finished 22-8 and an even 5-5 in the MSC. The #4 seed is host school Pikeville College (21-8, 4-6), while Lindsey Wilson College (16-14, 3-7) will take the fifth seed. WVU Tech (11-15, 2-8) enters the tournament as the sixth seed.
