KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Lindsey Wilson College climbed to No. 2 this week in the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top-25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Tuesday.

Cumberland University joins the Blue Raiders with a mention in the poll as the Bulldogs sit outside the Top-25 but are receiving votes.

Lindsey Wilson received 563 voting points while Cumberland garnered 16 voting points from the panel of head coaches that makes up the national raters.

According to the NAIA, Lindsey Wilson owns the longest current active streak of consecutive appearances in the Top 25 with 139.

Concordia (Ore.) University is the new No. 1 in the poll with 591 voting points and 20 of the 21 first-place votes. Lee (Tenn.) University follows Lindsey Wilson with 551 voting points and the final first-place vote.

Lindsey Wilson (2-1-1) travels to Lee on Thursday for a Top-5 clash with the Lady Flames. Cumberland (4-1) hosts University of Rio Grande on Sunday, Sept. 16.

The next women's soccer poll is scheduled to be announced on Tuesday, Sept. 18.
