KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Lindsey Wilson College is the No. 11 seed and Campbellsville University is the No. 18 seed at the 61st annual NAIA Men's Tennis National Championships hosted at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
The Blue Raiders (18-5) and Tigers (14-6) open the 24-team tournament at 1 p.m. CT on Tuesday, May 15.
Lindsey Wilson faces No. 22-seed Hastings (Neb.) College with the winner advancing to Wednesday's second-round match against sixth-seeded Vanguard (Calif.) University.
Lindsey Wilson -- 7-9 all-time at the national tournament -- is making its ninth national championship appearance. The Blue Raiders have won five straight entering the national tournament and 10 of their last 11.
Hastings (12-8) is playing in its third all-time national tournament. The Great Plains Athletic Conference Tournament champion is 0-2 all-time in the tournament.
Campbellsville meets No. 15-seed Belhaven (Miss.) University with the winner advancing to Wednesday's second-round match against second-seeded Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University.
Campbellsville is making its inaugural trip to the national tournament. The Tigers earned the final of 10 at-large bids into the tournament based on the final Top-25 Poll.
Belhaven (15-3) is also making its first appearance in the national tournament. The Blazers received an at-large bid.
Thirteen teams earned an automatic berth by winning their respective conference/independent/unaffiliated group tournaments or regular season conference title while another 10 received at-large bids. The final bid went to host University of Mobile (Ala.)
The single-elimination, head-to-head tournament begins on Tuesday with eight first-round matchups. The top-eight seeds received first-round byes and will begin action on Wednesday, May 16. The finals are slated for 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, May 19.
