In just his third season as head coach of the Blue Raiders men's and women's cross-country teams, Edwin Hagans has been named the Men's Coach of the Year. This is his second men's award and fourth overall.
Hagans was named MSC Women's Co-Coach of the Year in 2005 before taking home both coach of the year accolades in 2006. This season, the Blue Raider harriers finished swept the men's and women's competition during the MSC Tournament. Held in conjunction with the NAIA Region XI Championship in Nashville, Tennessee, Lindsey Wilson finished second in the regionals behind Union University (TN).
Three Blue Raiders participated in the 2007 NAIA National Championships in Kenosha, Wisconsin. On the men's side, Lindsey Wilson freshman Christopher Kipchirchir finished 59th out of 258 participants with a time of 25 minutes and 56 seconds over the 8,000-meter course. Freshman David Mutuse ended in 130th with a time of 26:30.
Lindsey Wilson freshman Grace Korir finished 136th in the women's championship with a time of 19:31 over the 5,000-meter course.
