KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Three Mid-South Conference teams climb and two slide in the latest NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Top-25 Poll, released on Monday by NAIA officials.

University of the Cumberlands, Shawnee State University and Georgetown College each climbed in the poll while Campbellsville University and Lindsey Wilson College slipped.

Cumberlands (18-1) jumped two spots into a tie for No. 6 after winning twice last week, including wins at St. Catharine College and Campbellsville. The Patriots -- who have won a conference-best 16 straight games -- received 254 voting points from the national raters.

Shawnee State (16-4) and Georgetown (14-6) each climbed one spot in the rankings after winning a pair of home games last week. The Bears moved to No. 11 after receiving 212 voting points while the Tigers jumped to No. 17 with 151 voting points.

Campbellsville (14-7) fell two spots to No. 19 after splitting a pair of conference games last week and Lindsey Wilson (14-7) fell five spots to No. 25 after dropping road games at St. Catharine and Campbellsville.

The MSC leads all conferences with the five ranked teams in the poll followed by the Southern States Athletic Conference with four members in the Top-25. This week's poll marks the fifth straight that five teams from the MSC enjoy a national ranking.

Freed-Hardeman University (18-2) is No. 1 for the second straight week with 312 voting points and all 12 first-place votes. Oklahoma City University (17-1) is second with 301 voting points and Union University (19-2) is third with 293 voting points.

The poll is voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each conference, the independents and unaffiliated groups. The next poll is scheduled to be announced on Mon., January 30.
