LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Campbellsville University's Justin Ennis is the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

The weekly conference award is Ennis' first of the season and the first of his career.

In his only game last week, Ennis scored 25 points while grabbing two rebounds and handing out two assists in Campbellsville's 87-77 win at Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University.

The Huntsville, Texas, junior guard made 10 of his 14 shots during the win, including five for six from beyond the three-point arc.

Ennis is averaging 13.2 points per game this season. Over the last three games, he has scored 19, 20 and 25 points. This season Ennis is shooting 47.4 percent from beyond the three-point arc.

Campbellsville is 9-3 overall this season and 1-2 in conference play.

The next men's basketball player of the week award is scheduled to be announced on Monday, Jan. 9.
