CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Georgetown College's Tyler Fisher hit a three-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to help the Tigers to a 7-6 win over St. Catharine College tonight in the MSC Tournament at Tiger Field.

Georgetown advances in the consolation bracket to face the loser of Friday's winner's bracket game featuring top-seed Campbellsville University and No. 2-seed University of Rio Grande. St. Catharine's season ends with a 36-22 record.

Down to his final strike, Fisher pounded a 0-2 pitch over the centerfield wall to extend the Tigers (27-31) season. Fisher finished the game 3-for-5 at the plate with four RBIs.

St. Catharine opened the game's scoring with a four-run third inning to take a 4-0 lead.

Following a pair of hits and a Georgetown error, St. Catharine's Justin Witt drove home a pair with a double down the right field line to give the Patriots the 2-0 lead. Kaleb Henry followed with a RBI ground out and Brian Jones added a RBI single to give St. Catharine the 4-0 lead.

The Patriots extended their lead in the bottom of the fourth.

Philip Dean and Ryan Mangione led off their half of the fourth inning with back-to-back singles and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Josh Landers and on one of three Georgetown errors during the game. The Patriots led 6-0 after four innings.

The Tigers began their comeback with a pair of runs in the sixth to cut the Patriots lead to 6-2. Fisher singled to left field and Pete Thackston homered one pitch later to cut the deficit to 6-2. The home run was Thackston's second of the tournament.

Georgetown continued to chip away at the St. Catharine lead with two runs in the eighth inning to trim the Patriots lead to 6-4. Fisher singled home Mike Steinke -- who led off the inning with a single -- and Cameron Allen drove in Chris Wood -- who reached on a walk -- to climb within two runs.

In the decisive inning, Tanner Baldwin and Steinke each singled to set up the Fisher heroics.

Georgetown's Chase Ballinger (6-3) picked up the win in relief without allowing a run in his 2-2/3 innings of work. St. Catharine's Brad Krohman suffered the loss in relief allowing three runs on three hits in one inning of work.

Georgetown faces the loser of the Campbellsville-Rio Grande game at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, May 7 at Tiger Field.
