Beginning with the spring 2008 season, the Bethel College and the Shorter College Track & Field men's and women's teams will be members of the Mid-South Conference, already the home to both college's football teams.

According to Commissioner Mike Pollio, this marks the first time in MSC history that football only members have been admitted to join the conference in an additional sport.
