FRANKFORT, Ky. – Third-seeded Shawnee State (Ohio) outscored sixth-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) 18-8 in overtime to win 74-64 at the 2015 Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Tournament presented by Pioneer College Caterers at the Frankfort Convention Center.

Shawnee State (22-9) advances to play No. 7-seed Cumberlands (Ky.) at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday in the tournament's second semifinal.

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Lydia Cuff posted career highs with 26 points and 24 rebounds to help seventh-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) to a 65-61 upset of No. 2-seed Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) at the 2015 Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Tournament presented by Pioneer College Caterers at the Frankfort Convention Center.

The Patriots (13-16) advance to Saturday's semifinals against the winner of tonight's final game featuring No. 3-seed Shawnee State (Ohio) and No. 6-seed Georgetown (Ky.).

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Pikeville (Ky.) senior guard Kenny Manigault is the 2014-15 Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year, conference officials announced on Thursday at the conference's awards banquet at the Capital Plaza Hotel.

The announcement comes during the 2015 Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Championships presented by Pioneer College Caterers at the Frankfort Convention Center in downtown Frankfort.

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Jalita Fason hit a 3-pointer with 2.2 seconds left to lift fifth-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.) to a 59-56 victory over fourth-seeded Pikeville (Ky.) at the 2015 Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Tournament presented by Pioneer College Caterers at the Frankfort Convention Center.

The Bulldogs (16-11) advance to face top-seed Campbellsville (Ky.) at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday in the tournament's semifinals.

Madison Clements scored a career-high 24 points to help the No. 1-seeded Tigers to a 68-60 win over eighth-seeded St. Catharine (Ky.) at the 2015 Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Tournament presented by Pioneer College Caterers at the Frankfort Convention Center.

Campbellsville (28-2) advances to Saturday's semifinals to face the winner of fourth-seeded Pikeville (Ky.) and fifth-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.). Tip-off for Saturday's first semifinal is at 2 p.m. ET.
