BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Pikeville's (Ky.) Katelyn Simpson is the 2016 Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Year as she highlights the award winners, conference officials announced on Thursday at the Bowling Championships banquet at the National Corvette Museum.

Simpson led the Mid-South Conference with an average of 195.32 over 19 games this season and she repeats as MSC Women's Bowler of the Year after she was the only bowler in the conference to average of 190 this season.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Pikeville's (Ky.) Zachary Fylling is the 2016 Mid-South Conference Men's Bowler of the Year as he highlights the men's bowling season award winners, conference officials announced on Thursday at the Bowling Championships banquet at the National Corvette Museum.

Fylling earned the honor after posting a 209.71 average in 14 games bowled during the regular season in the MSC and he repeats as MSC Men's Bowler of the Year.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 2016 Mid-South Conference Bowling Championships begin on Friday morning at 8 a.m. CT, and a team champion is set to be crowned on Saturday at Southern Lanes in Bowling Green, Ky.

The singles and double competitions are contested on Friday, and the first two rounds of the double-elimination team tournament will begin on Friday evening after the conclusion of the singles and double competitions. The final seven rounds of the team tournament start at 7:30 a.m. CT.

NAIA Wrestling Top-20 Coaches' Poll | NAIA Individual Ranking

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Three Mid-South Conference teams are ranked and six more earned voting points in the latest NAIA Wrestling Top-20 Coaches' Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.

Life (Ga.) is the highest ranked team from the Mid-South as they earned 59.5 points to move up one spot to sixth in the national poll. The Running Eagles have eight grapplers ranked in the top-16 of their respective weight classes, as Dalton Bailey leads the way for Life as he is ranked second at 197 pounds. 

 
Men's Bowling - Wed, Feb 10, 2016

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Twenty-nine Mid-South Conference men's bowling student-athletes earned Academic All MSC honors, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.
